Meet Pippa

We now totally understand what it is like to be real parents. (Yes, I know we don't "totally" understand.. but it's pretty close to it).
We are sleep deprived, and constantly chasing this little pistol around the house-

Meet Pippa....

We went to get the little rats on Friday, and they were thrilled about their homecoming...

Pippa on the left, and Sophie on the right.

We were a little worried about how they would act when going to a new home, meeting a new yorkie that looks like their mama- who is a spoiled needs nerve pills type of dog, and then meeting a completely dominant overweight, so ugly she's cute  chihuahua. They did great! They walked/ran/hopped around that house like they have been there forever. Tootie (the precious chihuahua) is a great mama to them. She is very protective and is watching their every move at all times. Milly (my 1st born) is not so sure. She does not like for them to get anywhere near her, and they are now getting a hoot out of running past her and grabbing her hair, then quickly bowing down because they are scared to death. Sneaky 'lil things.

7 weeks vs. 12 years.
Love those girls!

I have told several people lately that I don't understand how women have more than one child. I have felt extremely guilty about getting Pippa. I think I have held Milly more than I have Pippa so far. I know she will get used to her, but I feel like I have let her down. This shall get easier. Tim claims Pippa anyways, so he tends to her a lot... he's a sucker for a puppy :)

The past 2 days have been very fun and tiring. The two sisters love to play fight and bite each other constantly. They are so cute together. I quickly remembered how having a puppy is also. She can find any piece of trash/crumb/plastic/string in the craziest places! She is loving chewing on our rugs and hiding from us. When I say we are like parents, I mean that miss thing wakes up every 1-2 hours and pitches a t-total fit. Not whining or crying.... Howling and Barking! It is almost impossible to go back to sleep, and when we finally do- she is ready to get up again. At 6 am, she is ready to be up for the day so we have been getting up and feeding her then. I know that she is fine in her crate, but I can't stand to here her that upset, and our house is not big enough to drain it out- at all.

We even find ourself trying to keep her up late in the afternoon/ no napping.. so she will sleep more at night. Wow- glimpse of motherhood!

We are loving having her cute little self around, its been a while since a puppy and we are loving every minute :)

Pathetic. 2 months since my last post. I have no excuse- except for the last time I tried to update, I typed a long blog that took FOREVER and when I went to publish, it lost everything. Needless to say, I was not happy and have banned the blogging world since. We literally do not sit down in our home, with my computer, ever- so, I figured I would update since its only 9:00 and I have some time to spare before bed.
Here we go- prepare yourself for the boringly long post about nothing you are probably interested in.
So- What have we been up to?
In April----We helped our friends welcome 3 beautiful baby girls into the world.
First was Nathan and Lindsey's sweet little bundle of joy.

Of course, this was just the other night when I got to spend some quality time with her. She is so precious and looks just like her big brother- which is awesome, because he is a little doll himself!

The next baby girl was from one of my good friends at school, Candice. Maddie is also a baby sister to a precious little boy. She is a sweet little chunk who is oh so lovable.

Maddie attended our kindergarten party this past week, and she was very entertained!

The last and most recent new addition to our group of baby girls is from one of my best friends- Kendall Gunter. Emerson has finally arrived and I am so excited for their little family!

She is so loved already. I have not gotten to spend as much time with this little precious as I have wanted because of crazy school life and Kendall and her hubby living in the big ole town on Ninety Six (Ahem--- I wish they would move on back here!)

All of these babies are absolutely precious and perfect little miracles. So excited to watch them grow :)

Now, since I do not have a human baby yet- I am proud to announce that this little gal....

is going to be a big sister.
To a yorkie puppy.

Don't know how I will ever choose which one is the right one for Tim and I.

The runt- with the sweetest little round face.
The wild one. She is a complete mess, already.

You see, My mom and I are getting both females, the sisters. This is going to be so much fun seeing them grow together and watch them play. So excited. We will be getting them soon, they are now 6 weeks old :) Should be exciting around the houses!

Now onto the house projects.... just a quick photo dump of what we have been doing around our little home.

Mother Day gifts 2012. We enjoyed making these for our moms. They are the best, so we wanted to do something that we enjoyed together and something that wasn't just bought.

Can you say OCD? I am completely overboard about organizing these days. I. LOVE. IT.
Hey- my addictions could be worse, right?

Weekend project we just completed. Started last night, and finished tonight. I am very excited about the way it turned out... I am going to make different signs for different holidays/ events also.

SO- There's a bunch of rambling about the past 2 months. Maybe with school almost out for the year I will have more time to keep this updated.

Until next time....
